Abstract :
The selection of models in learning will determine how the learning process in
the classroom. To choose the right learning model, it needs to be adjusted to
the formulation and achievement of learning goals. And to develop a learning
model that involves students actively in learning, using cooperative learning
type Explaining. Student Facilitator and
cooperative intended to make custom teacher becomes a facilitator who is
dominant where the students more involved learning activities, so that the
learning process becomes more effective and can generate interest in students
to learn to identify themselves, cooperate and communicate the results of their
study . This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning
outcomes on the subject of Linear Equations in One Variable in class IX-B SMPN
1 Rowokangkung Lumajang with learning cooperative Student Facilitator and
Explaining types, and to determine the level of activity in the students work together
in groups.
