Demands of thematic learning in class I, II and III Elementary School, make the teacher must learn to implement. It is not as easy as we think, because it is still considered new to them. Therefore the extent of clinical supervision can improve the quality of video recordings of thematic learning classroom teachers in Cluster II Semester School 01 Patrang Jember Year 2008/2009. This research to find solutions for increasing the skills of teachers in teaching students with a thematic approach. As for the Trustees is to increase knowledge about how to guide teachers in teaching the thematic approach well, particularly the use of video recording. Implementation of this research through discussions, interviews, observation in solving development problems can be thematic learning what we can see in the footage video. Clinical supervision using videotapes influence on improving the quality of teacher learning thematic in class II School 1 Patrang Jember year 2008/2009.
